When are the worship services?
Plainedge Baptist Church offers many opportunities to worship. We have two worship services each Sunday that are led by our pastor, Rob Thorne. They are at 9:45 AM, and 7:00 PM. We also have mid-week Growth Groups on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the church. We are committed to providing dynamic worship through music and biblical teaching and preaching.
What is your style of worship?
It is common today to hear the words 'traditional' and 'contemporary' when describing worship styles in churches. At Plainedge Baptist Church we have a 'blended' style of worship. We use both contemporary music and hymns. Our pastor's ministry style is 'practical preaching for powerful living'.
What is Bible Fellowship?
This is the small group setting that we offer to guests and members alike to meet new people and grow deeper in their faith. There are classes offered for every age: preschool, children, youth, and adult. We have men's, women's and co-ed classes at 8:30 AM. We then have men's, women's, co-ed classes for adults, a nursery, preschool and classes for all students at 11:15 AM.
Membership 101 is a one day class for those who are interested in becoming members of the church. This class is an orientation that provides you with information concerning our beliefs, our ministry philosophy, ministry opportunities, and what is involved in becoming a member of the church. The dates and times for this class are periodically announced.
